In order to transform an underutilized large concrete terrace on a luxurious hillside villa in Houston into a stunning outdoor living center. We installed three connected 10’×14’ units to create one expansive big pergola with a modern gray frame and gray louvers.
The structure defines a dynamic social zone for gatherings and BBQs without disturbing the quiet interior of the home, turning wasted space into a luxurious, low-maintenance outdoor oasis that elevates the entire hillside property.
Large hillside patio was fully exposed to sun and rain, leaving the premium space underused.
No structure could cover the expansive patio while maintaining unobstructed valley views.
No built-in lighting limited use after sunset, wasting the villa’s best views.
Use three connected 10x14 pergolas to achieve comprehensive and continuous coverage across the entire large terrace.
Integrated recessed lighting allows day-to-night usability and enhances the villa’s modern aesthetic.
