To address these, we installed four 10ft.×14ft. gray solar aluminum pergolas. These pergolas transform the patio into a versatile, all - weather dining area. Equipped with motorized adjustable louvers, built - in ceiling fans, they offer shade, rain protection, and a comfortable airflow. Now, the patio serves as a year - round gathering spot, elevating the restaurant’s curb appeal and turning a previously neglected area into a profit - driving, customer - favorite outdoor dining space, perfectly integrating with Buffet Star’s modern aesthetic.

The plain, unshaded patio clashed with Buffet Star’s “modern sushi & BBQ” brand. It looked “unfinished” next to the sleek restaurant, making the whole property feel mismatched. Social media posts lacked a polished outdoor dining backdrop.
Without shade or airflow, the patio became a “heat trap” in summer—no breeze, just stifling air and clattering chairs. Even casual lunches felt uncomfortable, and the space was avoided for anything longer than a quick takeout wait.
